Annabel Whitten

My name is Annabel Whitten. I am a Comparative Literature Master’s student working in English and French. I did my undergrad here at San Francisco State in English Education and Comparative Literature. My academic interests are postcolonial theory, modernism, and the gothic. I want to explore how the gothic can be used as a vehicle for postcolonial critique, specifically in literature from the United States as well as Francophone countries in Africa and the Caribbean.
