Peer2Peer Mentor Collective at SFSU

The Peer2Peer Mentor Collective at San Francisco State University is designed to enhance the student experience by pairing new students, both freshmen and transfers, with peer mentors already familiar with the campus. These one-on-one mentorship supports student mentees by connecting them to campus life, resources, and professional development opportunities during their first year so that all new students can navigate their academic and personal needs. In addition to the meaningful connections that ease new students' transitions, the program facilitates the development of valuable career skills for mentors, who also expand their social and professional networks by guiding new students.
