David Kang

David Kang is currently studying Heian era (8^th century to late 12^th/early 13^th century) Japanese poetry under the Comparative World Literature MA program. His academic interests lie in the way the evolving poetics of waka construct the borders of aesthetic worlds, specifically the relationship between its characterization of the natural world and Japan’s material relationship with it.
